A brainless multi-cell organism [P. polycephalum] has the ability not only to learn, but also to transmit knowledge when fusing with other organisms! [1] If you can remember without a brain, then what purpose does its operation serve? We like to believe the brain produces consciousness. Could it be that it does not even produce thought? Think of the brain as a barrier, not a tool. What tool could actually think it is not important? Arrogant man. Look at the slime. Learn from it.
